STA Distance Meet 2023 happens tomorrow.  It is an optional opportunity for swimmers to try "distance" events.  Some of these events are offered at the CVSL Champs (Leagues) and/or the VSA Champs.  You can see exactly which are offered when by going to the sign-up calendar for the specific meet or looking at the posted info on the respective website page.  Swimmers may qualify for the VSA meet at this meet.

Leagues is quickly approaching, and soon we'll be reaching out to get our families involved in running the meet in ways different from our normal dual meets (e.g. no bullpen, scoresheet runners, etc).  Be on the lookout and thank you in advance for your overwhelming support.  Swimmers should currently be signing up for this meet (or "not attending" where applicable) as the opportunity to sign-up and select events ends this Friday 7/21.  Coaches must submit entries on Saturday and only exhibition entries may be added very early in the following week.  Please note that this meet shows up as 3 meets in SwimTopia.  Friday are the distance events, Saturday AM are the 10 & under events including 50 Fr, and Saturday PM are the 11 & over events.  More info about everything will begin coming out next week.

States is also fast approaching and the last opportunity to sign up for events is the following Friday July 28th.  Coaches will submit entries over the weekend.  Please review the information and links posted on our website regarding this meet.  The info explains qualifying for the meet and how one becomes eligible for "bonus time" swims.  Also new this year is that swimmers may compete in up to 5 individual events and 2 relays (medley & free).

Pictures look like they'll be happening Wednesday 7/26.  More info to come once the date and time are etched in stone.  Unfortunately it is inevitable that some people will be missing, but hopefully it's very few!

The final 2 dual meets of the season should be completed on Thursday 7/20 vs Midd and Tuesday 7/25 vs BCC respectively.  Both meets are at Hard'ack.  All meets are currently open for swimmer sign-ups and these two meets are currently open for parent volunteer sign-ups.
