VSA Championship "States"

The VSA Championship Meet invites all qualifying teams from the State of Vermont to compete on the first full weekend in August.  This is a great meet from both an individual and team perspective.  There are 2 ways in which a swimmer can become eligible to participate in this meet shown below.

Host site:

  • Upper Valley Aquatic Center - White River Junction, VT

Format: Order of events

  • Saturday AM, August 1st - 10 & under
  • Saturday PM, August 1st - 11 & over
  • Sunday AM, August 2nd - 10 & under
  • Sunday PM, August 2nd - 11 & over

Eligibility:

  • Swimmers must have competed in at least 2 CVSL meets and be in good standing with the team.
  • *NEW Swimmers may be entered in up to 5 individual and 2 relay events.
  • To be entered into events...
    1. Swimmers must meet or exceed qualifying / cut times designated by the VSA competition committee.  *swimmers who qualify for 1 event become eligible for additional events based on the bonus time posted.
    2. Swimmers may be entered into an event or events if no other qualifying STA swimmers are already entered.  This is unlikely for 10 & younger swimmers as there are only 6 events and there's usually at least 1 qualifying swimmer.  The 100 IM (individual medley) is sometimes the exception.  The smaller the age-group, the more likely this can happen.
