Here's the warmup and parent job highlights:

Warmups:

• Saturday AM (session 1) - 8:40am, lanes 0-4
• Saturday 500Fr (session 2) - 11:50am, open lanes
• Saturday PM (session 3) - 1:40pm, lanes 3-6
• Sunday AM (session 4) - 9:00am, lanes 0-4
• Sunday PM (session 5) - 1:30pm, lanes 3-6

Parent Jobs: Posted for signups on the team calendar.  We've got 82 swimmers participating (WOW!!), so we've got a bunch of jobs to fill.  Feel free to take both the 1st and 2nd half shifts if you'd prefer.  Morning sessions are estimated to last ~2hrs, and afternoon sessions are estimated to last closer to 3hrs.

• Sat AM
  
  • Splash Park Marshall - Direct traffic in the Splash Park. Swimmers to the pool vs. parents to the lobby to get to the spectator area. Also ensure no parents are watching the meet through the Splash Park pool deck. Shift begins at 8:20am.
  • Timers - Touchpads are used at this meet.  2 timer's per lane.  1 gets a plunger (backup to the touchpad) and a clipboard, the other a plunger and a manual watch.  Timers’ meeting Splash Park pool deck at 9am.
• Sat PM
  • Runner - Pick up timing sheets at the end of every event. Report to computer table at 2pm.
  • Clean-up - Distribute empty bags to tents outside and coaches inside during session and help clean up grassy area after end of afternoon session. Begin when relays begin.
  • Timers - see description above. Timers’ meeting Splash Park pool deck at 2pm.
• Sun AM
  • Lane Wranglers - The job is to ensure that the younger swimmers are in their correct lanes in the correct heat order ready to swim for the 25s and initial 50s. One person monitors two lanes. (Timers are at the far end of the pool. Wranglers are at the start end.) Report to start end for 9am.
  • Timers - see description above. Timers’ meeting Splash Park pool deck at 9am.
  • Heat Ribbons - Hands out ribbons to the Heat Winners as each race finishes. Report to computer table for 9am.
  • Awards Table - Labels and sorts the ribbons and medals during the meet. Report to computer table for 9:20am.
• Sun PM
  • Poster - Posts results outside. Check locker rooms. Report to computer table for 1:30pm
  • Outside door / Upstairs - Start at outside door and provide directions to locker rooms/pool for the swimmers and spectator area during warm-ups. Then hang out at the scoreboard end of spectator area ensuring no one takes pictures from angle behind the blocks. Report to computer table for 1pm.
  • Timers - see description above. Timers’ meeting Splash Park pool deck at 1:30.

Team Banquet will be held on Tuesday August 15th from 5 to approximately 8:30pm.  Bring the whole family!!  We do a potluck, so check out the breakdown of what to bring based on last name.  This can be found with the event on the signup calendar.  New this year...please RSVP so we can be sure to have the Goldilocks amount of stuff.  If you're new to the event, we take some time to play in the pool, eat, present awards, and play again.
